Art Direction

Microsoft IE

The task: Get Windows users to rediscover their Internet Explorer Browser.

The solution: When used amongst Windows 8′s suite of programs, Internet Explorer becomes a truly immersive, seamless experience. We wanted to demonstrate this visually, and decided to do it through the work of Chinese artist Liu Bolin.

Levis ‘World Aids Day’

The task: Create awareness for World Aids Day.

The Solution: Levis asked me to curate six artists to produce posters for Levis flagship stores. My poster was the classic World Aids Day ribbon re-appropriated in my classic ‘monster style’; symbolising unity with a little humour.

Adidas Basketball EDM

The task: Using Adidas’ global assets, craft a series of EDM’s tailored to the Australian market.

The solution: Used a concise visual hierarchy and strong hero message.

Granimator

The task: Digital Guru’s UsTwo asked me to produce an Artist Pack for their ‘Granimator’ ipad app. The app allows users to create wallpapers for their various devices using assets created by artists.

The solution: My ‘black pack’ contained all manner of horror elements- from monster parts to moody goths. It was accompanied by some custom music and SFX courtesy of MUTANTS.

Ford Fiesta ST

The task: Create a landing page showcasing the new Ford Fiesta ST.

The solution: The new page had to sit within the template constraints of Ford.com.au. I worked with the development team to push the limits of the template to include background images and a massive, single-word headline. A first for Ford.

The Scratch Perverts

I worked closely with UK DJ collective ‘The Scratch Perverts’ on all their graphics and identity. Over the years this included designing the packaging for many of their releases, as well as posters, flyers and even live visuals for their infamous ‘Beatdown’ club nights at Fabric, London. We also drunk a lot.

Watch The Ride

Harmless records asked me to produce the packaging and design the identity for their series of ‘Watch The Ride’ mixes. Over a one-year period, we produced eight of these CD digi-packs, each featuring gate-fold packaging with spot-UV accents. I designed all the packaging, created the assets and all the supporting flyers and banner ads, as well as directed the photography. Watch The Ride was a really fun project!

Ahead Of The Game

I worked on design and art-direction for (now sadly defunct) UK record label ‘Ahead of The Game’. The brief was to produce a generic house-bag that looked completely unlike anything else on the shelves. We used different stickers for different releases.
